8.6.2015 Critique on three garden centre conifers.
This cedar deodar was too tall, so Chris cut the top off and styled it as a semi-cascade.
This juniper had two leading branches, one on top of the other, so Chris pruned out one of them and improved the shape.
Chris thought that this chamaecyparis was more suited to be a garden shrub.
Chris Williams critiques - members bring in a tree for advice and Chris tells us where to prune, layer, wire, when to re-pot and anything else we need to know!
Rob's hawthorn needed some styling; Janet's Monterey cypress was only sown two years ago, so can just grow on; Richard's juniper needed shaping and Debbie's forsythia had recently been dug up so will be pruned later.
