Ian Warhurst - a talk on junipers and hawthorns, 8.4.2013
Ian started by talking about junipers, his potting mixture and his feeding regime. He then went on to demonstrate how he styles his trees in the Japanese way, bending branches by wiring at 45 degrees, and creating deadwood.
In the second half, Ian discussed the care and styling of hawthorns, from the roots upwards. He believes in a very free-draining compost for both junipers and hawthorns, so he needs to water and feed his trees more often.
